Global Strategic Insights Executive Director (m/f/d)

Position Purpose

The Global Insights & Analytics CoE Director mission is to drive the transformation agenda and elevate the insights and analytics function into a real source of competitive advantage for Bayer Consumer Health with best and next in class programs, cutting edge insights and analytic approaches, toolkits, standards, and leading-edge capabilities.

Major tasks and responsibilities of position:

  • Drive our foresight agenda. Define and embed new practices, behaviors, approaches, and tools to monitor and action the disruptive trends and enable the organization to navigate the constant change and uncertainty around the health, social and economic context via scenario planning to enable our organization to pivot under any probable future.
  • Establishing vision, purpose, and end to end thinking for anticipating consumer expectations via best in class agile, real time and in-context, AI driven tools and approaches to unearth human insights, refocus insights on strategies and activation and mobilize action across functions and throughout our marketing and new product development activities. Constantly be at the edge of exploration and validation techniques, evaluating novel approaches, testing, and learning.
  • Lead development, adoption and continuous optimization of our Integrated Measurement Toolkit including Equity and Marketing Mix Development and Assessment Tools to maximize their value creation and impact into our Brands Growth Agenda.
  • Drive Operational Effectiveness across all enablers (people, tools, processes): create frictionless connections for all our intelligence platforms/dashboards and knowledge management systems to maximize data ROI, review and simplify processes and drive change management initiatives.
  • Amplify best practices, bringing the outside in and identify next practices to elevate the impact of the function and evaluate the success of the initiatives and decisions that are taken through building effectiveness models.

Who are you:

  • To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate an extensive background in complex project management, change management initiatives as well as demonstrated ability to influence cross functional teams.
  • You possess well-developed communication, consulting, and storytelling skills.
  • You feel at ease with automation and digitization offerings and have a good understanding of what AI and Machine Learning can and cannot do. You know how to deliver messages that breakthrough the clutter.
  • Solid background in implementing enterprise change management strategies in areas including data foundations, governance, advance analytical solutions, with excellent ability in understanding and communicating the larger picture behind how data and insights drive a business.
  • Strong leadership skills, visionary, and proactive thinker.

Qualifications (Education, skills, experiences necessary for success in this position)

  • 20 + years of progressively responsible experience in Analytics, Market Research, Consulting, Digital Consumer/Media Intelligence roles.
  • Extensive experience in Advanced Analytics, Proficiency in Modeling techniques.
  • A minimum of 5 years managing and developing high performing teams.
  • CPG / OTC industry background and mix of supplier and client-side roles will be preferred supplier/client-side roles.
  • Min Bachelor’s degree required.
