KEY RESULTS ACCOUNTABILITIES

# Consults with product development teams to evaluate system interfaces, operational requirements, and

performance requirements for RTA’s systems.

# Assesses all risks associated with the technology systems and services testing and report in risk management

meetings. Review all preventative action and analyse improvements to test processes.

# Defines test methods and create test plans for new or updated software projects to determine if the software

will perform accurately and reliably according to documented requirements as well as established standards

under both normal and abnormal circumstances.

# Recommends design improvements or corrections to engineers throughout the development process

# Isolates, replicates, and reports defects and verify defect fixes

# Creates test tools that facilitates data gathering and test method execution

# Administers IT quality standards and policies repository

# Maintains effective communication with the project software engineers on project limitation, capability,

performance requirement and hardware interface changes

# Executes test plans and create test reports to describe It systems and services evaluation, testing, and

correction.

# Holds and facilitates test plan/case reviews with cross-functional team members

# Reviews and recommends improvements to the technology quality standards and policies. In addition, evaluate

and report on the application of technology quality and sustainability management techniques

# Perform other responsibilities related to the position as appropriate

# Periodically monitors IT systems performance after implementation to prevent reoccurrence of IT systems

operating problems and ensure efficiency of operation

# Reviews all technology testing activities of technology departments, and distributes all acceptance criteria to

development teams for technology systems transition

# Conducts compatibility tests with vendor-provided IT systems

# Identifies any potential quality issues per defined process and escalates potential quality issues immediately to

management

# Ensures that validated deliverables meet functional and design specifications and requirements

# Reviews product design documentation to ensure that requirements stated are correct, unambiguous, and

verifiable

Qualifications

Education

# Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering or Electrical

Engineering from a recognized university.

Skills

# Highly analytical thinking with demonstrated talent for identifying, scrutinizing, improving, and streamlining

# Knowledge in ISO quality management standards, CISA / COBIT /ITIL
