The Immigration Compliance and Enforcement (ICE) Teams are looking to recruit Immigration Officers to join our teams across the United Kingdom.

We work with partners nationwide to enforce immigration laws fairly; protect and safeguard the vulnerable; and act to apprehend illegal migrants and Foreign National Offenders in line with relevant legislation.

Person Specification
It is important that the successful candidates have strong personal resilience.
This is a key element of being able to undertake the role. The work we do will be mentally and physically demanding.
You will need to demonstrate the ability to work in a fast-paced and pressurised working environment.
You will have an eye for detail and the ability to work within the confines of legislation, policy and procedure.
The ability to prioritise workloads and be able to effectively deal with conflicting priorities is essential.
You will need to be flexible, adaptable and demonstrate creative problem solving abilities.
You will need to work well as a part of a team that includes other partner agencies but also be confident working alone.
Excellent communication skills are essential, along with the ability to build relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
You will be required to undertake arrest Training and pass the Pathway training programme, which uses a blended learning approach and typically takes between 12-18 months to complete.
The role requires travel to locations which are not easily accessible by public transport, so a full UK manual driving licence and a willingness to drive official vehicles, including cellular transport vehicles is required.
