Balloon Artist

OVERVIEW

A Balloon Artist works closely with customers to determine their needs, answer their questions about our products/services and recommend the right design and arrangement of balloons. The Balloon Artist should also be able to promptly resolve customer complaints and ensure maximum client satisfaction. Ultimately, the duty of a Balloon Artist is to achieve excellent customer service, while consistently meeting the sales goals.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent customer service.
• Suggest creative designs and ways to improve sales (e.g., planning of balloon designs and arrangements for various occasions and events)
• Assess customers��������� needs and provide assistance and information on product features.
• Assist in customer queries and provide best product/ service options to secure sales.
• Foll achieve sales goals on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis.
• ���������Go the extra mile��������� to drive sales and proposed balloon arrangements and designs
• Maintain in-stock and presentable condition assigned areas.
• Actively seek out customers
• Remain knowledgeable on products offered and discuss available options.
• Team up with co-workers to ensure proper customer service.
• Build productive trust relationships with customers.
• Comply with inventory control procedures.
• Monitor any discrepancies if any take the appropriate measures.

SKILLS

• Should know color combinations, arrangement patterns, numbering, and cultural aspects of colors and numbers.
• Should be able to use the gas cylinder for filling out the balloons.
• Should be able to create designs, patterns with the inflated balloons.
• Should be able to tend cylinder press that prints designs lettering on balloons.

• Pours ink & solvent in the trough of cylinder press adjusts ink flow.
• Cleans machine rollers, plates, and troughs with a solvent rag when color changes are specified.
• May inflate the balloon on the air nozzle, align press one or more inked block dies against the balloon, deflate the balloon, and place a balloon in a box.
• Should know the proper maintenance of cylinder and printing equipment.
• Should be able to train other members in-store on the usage of the equipment and related activities to balloon services.

QUALIFICATION & KNOWLEDGE

• Min 2 years experience working with balloons designing and decoration
• A high school degree, a catalog of previously done balloon arrangements and balloons designs will be an added advantage.
• Solid communication and interpersonal skills
• A friendly and energetic personality with a customer service focus
• Ability to perform under pressure and address complaints in a timely manner
• Availability to work flexible shifts.
• Proven work experience as a balloon artist or similar role.
• Basic understanding of sales principles and customer service practices.
• Proficiency in English
• Working knowledge of customer and market dynamics and requirements
• Track record of over-achieving sales quota
• Familiarity with inventory procedures
