- Draft legal documents including letters, affidavits, and claim forms
- Research discovery
- Assist during trial
- Review and analyze depositions for asbestos product identification
- File claims online through third party platforms
- Manage all client liens- submit billing and treatment history to obtain lien/claim figures
- Aid in generating, negotiating, and resolving all medical liens (Medicare, Medicaid, VA, and private health insurances)
- Negotiate with outside counsel and insurance adjusters to reach a fair settlement for clients with specified limits
- Review and interpret medical documents
- Data entry
- Communication with clientsQualifications:
- Prior litigation experience
- B.A. in Legal Studies, Political Science, or related work experience a plus
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Aptitude for mathematics
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Time management skills
- Affinity for reading
- Ability to work independently, or part of a team when needed
