Boykin Home Mortgage is currently looking for a Mortgage Loan Processor! The Mortgage Loan Processor is deeply committed to supporting the Mortgage Loan Originator in achieving timely processing of each mortgage loan. The Mortgage Loan Processor ensures all loan processing tasks are being completed to high standards with maximum efficiency.

Primary Responsibilities

• Maintain frequent communication while providing exceptional customer service to borrowers through the entire loan process.
• Manage multiple loan files.
• Collect and record customer information in a timely manner to ensure timely processing of compliant mortgage loan files.
• Set up loan files, manually and on the computer, and order all exhibits (i.e., VOE’s, VOD, HOI, credit reports, etc.)
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of each loan file processed prior to passing to the underwriting department.
• Follow up on submitted loans and/or pended loans.
• Coordinate closing paperwork and tasks, as required.
• Remain knowledgeable in all Boykin Home Mortgage procedures as well as company approved lender loan programs and options.

Education And/or Experience

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Knowledge of computers including Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
• Possess excellent team skills
• Strong communication, prioritization, and organizational skills.
• Must be able to work under minimal supervision.
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from loan originators, customers, loan underwriters, attorney paralegal, and the general public.
• Ability to follow instructions, schedules, and timelines.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities.
• Ability to maintain a good attitude, takes ownership to meet customer needs, goes above and beyond for customers, uses positive communication, and ensures customer satisfaction.
• Must be flexible and able to adapt to changes in priorities.
• At least 1 years of experience processing loans preferred, but not required.

Physical Demands / Work Environment

• Sitting at a desk working on a computer and making/taking calls.
