About The Role

As the Revenue Protection Manager, you are responsible for the management of revenue protection and revenue leakage through compliance of QR Reservation, Ticketing and loyalty program policy. This Includes oversight, identification and monitoring of abusive behaviors supported by necessary action against fraudulent activity. Monitoring the external and internal fraudulent activities encompassing the entire privilege club member base and industry partners data base. Within this role you will be required to drive automation capabilities through systems, data services and predictive analytical tools.

You will work closely with the Revenue Management, Finance, Loyalty, Sales/Distribution and Internal Audit teams to continuously develop and enhance solutions to meet objectives and KPIs.

Other Key Accountabilities Would Include

Strategic Accountabilities

  • Strategic Planning and decision making through implementation of business solutions to prevent loss of any revenue due to fraudulent activities and ensure efficiency and effectiveness of fraud prevention.
  • Formulate and implement accurate and effective methods for tracking inventory, ticketing and fare rules abuse.
  • Protect and increase Airline revenue by:
    • Reducing fraud with travel agencies and / or Airline offices
    • Ensure the ticketing, fares and payment rules are observed
    • Monitoring and controlling closely Airline sales
  • Monitor and track daily sales by agency IATA, PCC to determine significant increase in sales trends.
  • Provide high level solutions to detect any significant change in trends (based on historical sales data) e.g. burst ticketing by using real-time ticketing feeds the volume and amount of tickets issued per agent.
  • Monitor and identify new technology and systems to assist in the ability to detect fraudulent activity and enforce standards for internal and external customers

Operational Accountabilities

  • Manage the FFP fraud prevention team to eliminate fraudulent activities involving earn and burn by members and staff.
  • Recommend and provide inputs to RP Systems technology requirement to support revenue growth and prevent leakage.
  • Analyze RP processes and policies and recommend changes taking into consideration industry standards as well as QR business requirements.
  • Review and ensure the RP processes are executed as planned to prevent revenue leakage and reduce costs.
  • Work with key stake holders to recommend process changes to eliminate FFP related fraudulent activities.

Management & Leadership Accountabilities

  • Establish the department or teams objectives and priorities to align with and support business objectives.
  • Regularly evaluate the department or teams objectives, plans, procedures and practices, and makes appropriate changes if needed.
  • Oversee and supervise employees. Direct daily activities, recruit, train, develop and discipline to ensure a high standard of service delivery.
  • Train and develop other employees, to ensure succession planning is in place.

Qualifications

About You

We are looking for a passionate and experienced professn the RM – Systems and Science team.

  • A bachelor���������s degree qualification.
  • 8+ years of job-related experience
  • Experience in an airline in the Revenue Management dept, should have led a team of analyst to provide leadership and direction.
  • Experience in creating automated detection and action processes within a financial or commercial department.
  • Detailed understand of Airline Reservation and Ticketing processes
