Responsibilities
Conduct safety and facilities/vendors/suppliers audit with an eye for safety and product specification assurance
Advise management team on product/industry safety and quality standards
Maintain ISO certifications relevant documentation and validity
Generating non-compliance reports (NCR’s) in accordance with applicable procedures and the writing and revision of quality control procedures and related forms
Assuring identification and traceability of product and materials at all stages of manufacturing & operations process
Providing technical support and guidance to work centres for training process inspectors & projects on Quality Control requirements
Interfacing with Customer/Third Party/certifying authority representatives as required, and liaising with functional groups for all Quality Control related activities/problems
Performing Receiving Inspections and participating in Continuous Improvement initiatives
Conducting random verification and audit of inspection activities and support, shift and verify inspection reports for product conformance and reliabilities
Works closely with HSE, Operations and Supply Chain
Daily And Monthly Responsibilities
Develop and maintain product quality systems
Oversee operations and manufacturing quality and safety
Maintain systems for checking and verifying process compliance Safety Plan, Quality Plan
Ensure effective training in quality control for operations and manufacturing team
Report findings of quality control audit to the Management
Troubleshoot safety and quality issues as they arise
Experience/Education Required
5+ years of extensive experience in a similar role is essential.
Relevant education background
Have working knowledge of ISO API Quality Systems, Quality practices and applications, and Continuous Improvement Tools.
Have good experience in a Process Inspector and Auditing or similar position
Have the ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions and make sound recommendations
Possess the ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Have knowledge of Goods Receiving Inspection Systems and or supplier certification is desirable.
Have the Process Inspection Competency Certification and familiarity
