Your tasks

• Project management and coordination within the project portfolio „Food and Nutrition Security“ (FNS) of Plan Germany
• Supporting the fund acquisition from public donors (e.g. WFP, UNICEF, FAO) in cooperation with Plan International’s National Offices and the relevant department units at the German Office for technical, financial and administrative support
• Selection, conceptualisation, content-related as well as administrative and financial support (monitoring) and evaluation of projects in coordination with the respective Plan country offices and the regional teams at Plan Germany
• Establishing and expanding good working relationships with Plan offices and donors; contributing to the development of programme and sector strategies as well as strengthening capacities in programme countries, including through project-specific support, start-up workshops, trainings, etc.

Your profile

• University degree in a subject relevant to humanitarian aid and/or food and nutrition security
• Practical work experience in humanitarian aid/disaster risk management as well as in the above-mentioned areas; experience in food nutrition security an advantage
• Work experience abroad
• Willingness to travel
• Very good knowledge of German and English, both written and spoken
• Knowledge of French and/or Spanish is an advantage
• Very good MS Office skills
• Intercultural competences
• Team player and solution-oriented
