Develop and improve manufacturing processes by studying product requirements, researching, designing, modifying, and testing manufacturing methods.
Improve manufacturing efficiency by analyzing and planning workflow, space requirements, and equipment layout. Monitor productivity performance and establish operational countermeasures to meet business objectives. Calculate production, labor, and material costs; review production schedules; estimate future requirements. Prepare product and process reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
Provide manufacturing engineering information by answering questions and requests. Maintain product and company reputation by complying with company expectations. Design, and test methods of process; test finished- product and process capabilities; establish standards; confirm manufacturing processes.
5 Years in a manufacturing environment
5 Years CNC programming (Mastercam)
5 Years in 3D modelling and drafting (Catia)
Process Drawing creation (Catia)
New Product Development
Process Development
Fixture Design
Blueprint reading
Work Instruction development and implementation
Microsoft office programs
Preferred Experience
ERP Systems (Microsoft Dynamics Nav preferred but not required)
Six Sigma Green Belt certified from accredited program
Capital equipment purchases, repairs, and modifications
5 Years operating/setting up CNC and manual machines (mill, lathe, etc.)
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work in team environment. Ability to work under minimal supervision. Detailed oriented individual who can effectively work well under pressure in a culturally diverse environment.
