JOB SUMMARY:

  • The midwife will work in the primary health care center, field as she will provide advice, care and support to women and their babies during pregnancy, childbirth and the postpartum period.
  • Also she will help women make their own decisions about care, services and health education.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Graduated from Midwifery high school.
  • At least five years of experience in the Midwifery.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Midwife has the following responsibilities and duties:

  • Monitor and monitor the cases during pregnancy.
  • Develop and evaluate individualized care programmes.
  • Provide complete prenatal care including screening tests.
  • Determining pregnancies and the risk ratio and referring the cases to doctors and specialists.
  • Advice before and after examinations and tests.
  • Provide support and advice after various operations.
  • Supervising mothers, providing assistance, and knowing appropriate medications.
  • Provide support and advice on the day-to-day care of the child.
  • Liaising with agencies and other health and social care professionals.
  • Participate in the training of junior staff and colleagues.
