Finance & Markets – CFO Markets & Credit:

Finance within Julius Baer partners is responsible with Julius Baer’s leadership to understand and manage the financial performance, risks and develops solutions through quantitative analysis, projecting and forecasting. Markets and Credit are focused on Julius Baer’s trading and lending activities.

We are looking for an intern to support us with enhancing our internal reporting capabilities and to help us analyzing data for ad hoc requests.

In this role, you will work closely with various finance, markets and credit functions.

In particular the Financial Data Analyst intern is responsible for the following tasks:
Review and analysis of data across all sources of financial information
Support with internal data reconciliations and developing further automatizations
Design new internal reports and enhance automation of existing internal reports
Migrate reports to Tableau Server
Communicate and collaborate with various functions within Finance and Markets & Credit
Use stakeholders’ feedback to continuously improve and adjust our analytic capabilities

YOUR PROFILE
Bachelor University degree or similar higher education with a finance or quant background
Interest in financial markets
Analytical mindset and exhibiting intellectual curiosity
Experience working with large datasets
Strong technical skills incl. excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel/PowerPoint) – SAP would be a plus
Experience with Python and Tableau would be a plus
Strong attention to detail, precision and analytical skills
Team-oriented and financially minded staff
Commitment to being a team player
Fluent in English, German preferred, any other language skill is a plus
