Group/Division

KLA has manufacturing sites across the globe, including Belgium, China, Germany, Israel, Singapore and Milpitas (CA). The Global Operations (GOPS) team, comprised of Manufacturing, Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing Engineering, Installation, and Quality, is responsible for manufacturing our leading-edge technology. We partner with our world-wide supply base and our design engineering teams to bring new products to market. The GOPS team is continuously working to build our products Better, Faster, Cheaper.

In this role, you will apply your skills in data validation, statistical analysis and machine learning to explore, visualize, analyze, and augment diverse data sources for quantitative research

The ideal candidate is adept at using data sets to find opportunities for product and process optimization and using models to test the effectiveness of different courses of action. They must have strong experience using a variety of data mining/data analysis methods building and implementing models, using algorithms and creating/running simulations. The right candidate will have a passion for discovering solutions hidden in data sets (might be large/small) and working with stakeholders to improve business outcomes. You will run 20-30% of time ML models and rest of the time analyze data as data analyst

Minimum Qualifications
Background in Machine Learning and Data Analysis a must
Technical expertise regarding data models, database design
Strong mathematical skills to help collect, measure, organize and analyze data
Extensive experience with the Python scientific stack, Jupyter notebooks and git
SQL knowledge
Technical proficiency regarding database design development, data models, techniques for data mining, Data Wrangling
Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
Proficiency in statistics and statistical packages
