Senior Manager – AOTM

This is a Senior Management position within the exciting new Wholesale & Convenience channel which is set to significantly contribute to Asda’s growth ambitions. Reporting into the New Formats & Channels Director who will set the strategy, there will be lateral freedom within these broad guardrails. The role owns the operational rollout of our Asda on the Move business, working in partnership with our key customer. It is highly process / operationally focused and requires broad stakeholder engagement across multiple teams to deliver our ambition at pace.

The Role

In Terms Of Day To Day Tasks You Will

• Be responsible for the E2E operating process of AOTM from orders through to invoices
• Continuously review and identify opportunities to improve our process efficiencies in order to drive improved profitability across the format
• Seek out new opportunities for operational improvement whilst influencing senior stakeholders, this includes managing cross functional engagement and buy in for all relevant parties
• Work cross functionally with teams from across finance, supply chain, technology and commercial as well as our key customer

About You

• Track record in fast paced and uncertain environments, with evidence of providing support to meet changing business needs
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build cross-functional business relationships and influence at all levels;
• A team player, passionate about delivering results and developing and growing talent with a customer first mentality
• Ability to work under pressure, to tight deadlines and with ambiguity;
• Able to operate independently and take accountability.
• Exceptional communication skills, written and verbal with the ability to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences as well as excellent active listening skills;
