As a Strategic Partnerships Manager, you will be at the forefront of driving change through the introduction of strategic partners. You will build a diverse and robust partnerships portfolio across multiple categories to transform the way our customers shop at Asda and engage the brand, both in-store and online.

Your Role

You will be a key business partner working across internal stakeholder teams to drive business development and partnership opportunities. You will be integral in the development of robust business cases to create buy-in and engagement with key leadership. You will lead the end-to-end process in bringing in new partnerships to the business, from opportunity development to onboarding.

Key Focuses Include

• Develop and propel partnership strategy and new concepts in collaboration with internal stakeholders
• Build a diverse and robust partnerships portfolio across multiple categories to transform the way our customers shop at Asda and engage the brand, both in-store and online
• Monitor financial and operational performance of partners; drive commercial analysis
• Coordinate partnership reviews and business case development

About You

• Ability to identify Business Development opportunities, developing and maintaining relationships, and negotiating contracts through to fruition
• Can operate in an ambiguous and consistently evolving environment with a high level of autonomy with ease
• A leadership background and a vision to inspire results
• Proven track record to work collaboratively with people across all levels
• Project Planning / Project Management skills
• Strategic mindset
• A self-starter with a tenacious attitude and willingness to learn
• Retail or industry knowledge preferred but not essential
• MBA preferred but not essential
