The Perfect Candidate

Perfect candidates have an apprenticeship in a commercial field ideally in a laboratory setting with lab equipment and familiar with regulatory compliance and laboratory safety.

Tasks & Responsibilities
Receiving deliveries (unpacking, correct storage and informing colleagues of delivered goods)
Shipment preparation (shipping order + delivering goods to shipping team)
Liquid Autoclave (placing the liquid BSL2 bottles in the autoclave and emptying/cleaning of autoclaved bottles)
Administrative Assistance (SED, ordering sheet)
Common Stock upkeep
Reagent/media Common stock upkeep
Assistance for colleagues (device, experiment, reagent help)
Assistance for Technicians (device maintenance, booking of parking slots, guest passes)
Close contact networking (searching for alternative items for use in the labs due to low supply chain from Covid-19 and others)
Freezer defrosting (-20s, movement of samples in -80s)
Pipette maintenance (deliver pipettes to service for calibration)
Onboarding new colleagues (Informing of lab manager duties)

Must Haves
Finished apprenticeship, preferably in lab setting or administrative area
First experience working in administrative position within laboratory setting in close collaboration with research associates and scientists
First experience in database and machine-maintenance data management
Experience in regulatory compliance and laboratory safety
Technical affinity and good skills in G-Suite, experience with MS Office
Very good spoken and written skills in English is a must, German is an advantage
Team player with solution-oriented, proactive and agile working style
Excellent analytical and self-organizational skills, attention to detail and diligent working behavior
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
High degree of self-motivation, flexibility and ability to work independently
