Job Title: BIM Coordinator

Job Code: BIM Coor

Location: Turkey/Gaziantep

Reported to: Technical office manager

Job purpose:

Drives the strategic planning and management of CAD and BIM/Revit functions including building BIM/Revit capability, resource planning, and overall management of BIM and CAD environment, under the guidance of Project Management.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Support planning and implementation of BIM/Revit technology for master plans of the project, managing the coordination and clash detection.
Work with the team towards implementing full BIM technology deployment on large-scale projects to include 4D (scheduling & manpower) and 5D (cost analysis) using BIM models.
As part of a multi-disciplinary project delivery team, supports with contributing actively to structure, process, and compliance improvements; improves CAD/BIM workflows, policies, procedures, processes, and controls to ensure full adherence with QA/QC requirements.
Recommends the adoption of new technologies, system upgrades, and customizations as necessary
Trains develop and coach CAD and BIM/Revit teams and other users as necessary. Develops and maintains groupwide CAD and BIM libraries.
Working closely with BIM coordinators, who are responsible for producing project information models
Ensuring that BIM execution plans are produced and maintained for each project
Completing supply chain assessments
Ensuring staff have access to the tools and equipment they need
Producing monthly reports for senior managers, to identify and measure BIM implementation
Keeping up-to-date with advancements in building technology
Overseeing BIM budgets
Raising the profile of BIM across departments and teams
Adhering to the latest industry standards

Academic Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in architecture, construction, product design, civil engineering or architectural technology.

Requirements:

Knowledge of building and cladding materials in Syria and Turkey
Proficiency in working with computer programs and using Microsoft Office programs, especially Word, Excel, and Outlook
Previous knowledge and experience working on AutoCAD, Autodesk Revit
At least 3 years of experience in the same field and 1 year as a BIM team Coordinator
