Here’s where you come in:
As the Advisor, External Engagement Communications, you will work to ensure World Vision is strongly positioned with priority Tier 1 and 2 stakeholders from all sectors to wield influence, inspire action, increase visibility, gather intelligence, initiate partnerships and raise income all to support the achievement of World Vision’s strategic priorities and increase impact on child well-being.
You will work with key staff across teams to amplify World Vision’s external engagement so it is stronger, louder and more compelling. Together you will communicate effectively at priority moments, using compelling content through digital and traditional communications channels, to protect, position and promote World Vision and our child well-being objectives with key stakeholders.
Requirements include:
- Eight years’ experience in marketing, or communications fields with minimum three years at a senior management level
- Three years working in a not-for-profit organization or similar
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills to deal with the highest level of organi-sation/business representatives
- Experience in commissioning, editing and publishing news and/or magazine articles
- Experience in strategic planning and implementation of communications projects in line with organization objectives
- Experience in advising senior management on communication, reputation and marketing related issues
