About the role
pladis is in a fortunate position to have some of the UK & Ireland’s most loved and consumed food brands in McVitie’s ™, Jaffa, Penguin, Mini Cheddars, Jacob’s, Carr’s etc. At pladis we believe in growing and stretching our teams. pladis is a leading food manufacturer in the FMCG sector.
As part of our ‘Future Leaders’ Graduate Programme, this role will be based in the Impulse channel and is focused on developing our pladis portfolio. The role involves working closely with the customers. Our focus is to deliver the sales fundamentals for the business through working with our customers to enhance their business and grow sales.
Key accountabilities
- You will support in developing and delivering an annual strategic account and channel plan that reflects the customer and category and brand objectives.
- You will manage the account with P&L responsibility.
- You will plan and implement promotional plans.
- You will develop an account branded programme in line with the account plans.
- You will manage trading terms agreements.
- You will manage key cross-functional internal relationships with stakeholders.
- You will be the external face of pladis with our customer partners.
- You will look after reporting & tracking of sales fundamentals.

- Achieved or working towards a 2:2 or above in any degree discipline
- Proactive approach to getting things done

Location and Salary
This role will be based at pladis’ brand new global head office at the beautiful Chiswick Park, which comprises of 1.8 million sq ft of award-winning accommodation and over 45,000 sq ft of retail including the on-site Virgin Active gym, restaurants, convenience stores and an ever-changing array of pop-up traders and street-food vendors.

The starting salary is £30,000 with a joining bonus of £1,000 to help you prepare for the scheme, which includes moving and other expenses. This would need to be repaid should you decide to leave within 12 months of the programme.
