Teaching Assistant
Your new role
A wonderful school based in Rugby are looking for a Teaching Assistant to provide support in a number of classes from Year 2 to Year 6.
This is a full time role starting Monday, 21st March, Monday to Friday 08.30 – 15.30, in the first instance they would like the successful person until Easter, however, it is highly likely that this will continue until the end of the academic year.
This is a general TA role, therefore you will be asked to follow teachers instructions but to also work from your own initiative, be able to work form teachers plans, deliver interventions to small groups of children who require additional support.
Due to the nature of this role you will have to be rather flexible and understanding in your approach as you may be passed from pillar to post but I’m sure the school will be able to provide some kind of rota.
What you’ll need to succeed
- Experience in KS1 and KS2
- Recent experience working as Teaching Assistant
- Able to start on 21.03.2022 on a full-time basis
- Available to stay until Easter and longer if required
