Purpose of the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for an energetic, people-person to come join the Workplace team in our London Head Office as a Workplace Administrator. Working in a recently refurbished office, you’ll be working in a great environment with an awesome team. You’ll play a key role in providing an excellent experience for Trainliners, with lots of exciting projects to get involved in as well as being part of a growing team as we expand into Europe.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate internal services such as the front desk, stationery, deliveries, post and couriers
- Manage day-to-day administration of financial tasks such as raising POs and managing invoices
- Be an First Aider and undertake the necessary training as well as coordinating essential training for other volunteers
- Provide a warm and supportive welcome for new Trainliners and visitors to the office
- Manage the leaver process to ensure we follow IT and security protocol
- Provide first line support for facilities requests and queries
- Work with the Internal Communications team to provide timely updates and information to Trainliners
- Work with the design team to create branded resources as needed
- Provide administrative support for the Workplace team: diary management, team rotas, annual leave etc
- Actively look for ways to improve the Trainline experience
- Take the lead on ad-hoc projects as required.
About You
- Strong interpersonal skills with a warm and friendly style
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Excellent time management with strong organisational and prioritisation skills
- Experience of administrative tasks with strong IT skills (MS Excel and PowerPoint)
- A team player who’s always happy to get involved and help out.
