You will have excellent team working and communication skills with the vision and enthusiasm to continually develop both yourself and support within the service. You will work closely with the whole of the team including doctors, specialist nurses, and psychologists, as well as patients and their caregivers. The ability to communicate clearly and sensitively with our patient group is vital.
Being highly organised in your approach, you will develop and maintain ways of working to provide dynamic and effective research and administrative support. Attention to detail and the ability to prioritise workload are essential. The post holder will be responsible for all scheduling of assessments, administration of the unit, data management, and liaison with patients, carers and other departments both within and outside of the Trust., * Degree in Life Sciences or a related field, * Good Clinical Practice Certificate, * Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Good keyboard and IT skills – proficient use of Microsoft packages and the internet
- Ability to input and retrieve data accurately on a computerised system
Essential criteria
- Experience of dealing with the general public
- Experience in research methodologies
Desirable criteria
- Previous experience of an administrative role
- Experience of working in a research environment
