The Opportunity
A fantastic opportunity to support students to fully participate and succeed in their chosen courses of study, working closely with University academic and support staff and external agencies as required.
Student Advisers provide a first contact point for students within their School or Deanery, providing guidance and support, including additional assistance where needed, to those navigating the University support systems. Working closely with academic and professional services teams, the role will enable students to achieve their potential, as well as ensure parity of experience for all students.

Your Skills And Attributes For Success
We are looking for individuals who like working in a vibrant environment:
- Educated to HND level, or equivalent related experience
- Knowledge of and sensitivity to the complex areas of student support
- Excellent interpersonal skills – ability to remain calm and centre the needs of the student, being able to provide a safe and welcoming space for students in distress.
