Position Summary

As a consulting engineer, your task is to design and analyse the following building systems and prepare the drawings and specifications for bidding and construction by contractors:

• High/Medium voltage power distribution systems
• Low voltage systems; fire alarm, sound, paging, video, security, nurse call, medical telemetry
• Generator emergency/stand-by power systems
• Interior/Exterior building lighting and lighting controls

This position involves interpreting and applying local and national code requirements as part of the design for the safety of the public.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or another Engineering degree with significant course work or work experience related to Electrical Engineering
• New Graduate to 3 years’ experience
• Interest in pursuing professional registration
