Your Mission : Lead (and collaborate with) an engineering team (5 members) building a desktop component of a mission-critical product complementing UiPath’s product family. The Task Mining product itself consists of the back-end services, desktop application and ML model. The scope of this role is to lead the engineering on the desktop application that is an entry point to the Task Mining world. The application itself is targeting Windows 10+, is built with Node.js / Electron (UI and API interactions) and .NET 5 components (background – data capturing and processing). What You’ll Do At UiPath

  • Build a driven and high-performing team by focusing on the coaching and development of the engineers.
  • Drive the technical excellence: planning, technical & architectural analysis and acceptance, codebase analysis and review + suggesting the possibilities to improve.
  • Ensure that we have the necessary engineering processes and practices in place and implement engineering best practices.
  • Collaborate with horizontal teams on delivery, fostering convergence across products together with other UiPath engineering teams.

What You’ll Bring To The Team

  • 8+ years experience in the industry and at least 1 year of experience in an engineering leadership position (Technical Lead, Architect, Team Lead, Engineering Manager, etc.).
  • Experience as a software engineer working with our relevant technology stack (.NET or Node.js / Electron).
  • Understanding of the software engineering process (desktop software).
  • Ability to lead the team, plan and execute on product roadmap, contribute to process, and communicate clearly.
  • Grasp of architectural design patterns, optimization techniques.
  • Experience with scalable service-oriented product engineering process (back-end + SPA + desktop or mobile client).
  • Solid skills with standard toolset (Git, Azure DevOps, Jira, Confluence)

Skills That Would Be Beneficial

  • Prior experience with the relevant technology stacks (.NET + Electron, React).
  • Experience with installer bootstrappers and update techniques would be a plus.
  • Experience with various techniques of automated testing of the desktop application.
  • Experience with Win32 API, Windows registry would be a plus.
  • Experience starting as a technical lead/manager of an existing team/product would be a plus.
