Job Summary
The Administrative Staff Assistant II will provide administrative support to the Vice President of Finance & Management. This includes scheduling of appointments and organizing meetings, manage calendars with strong organizational and prioritization skills, arrange virtual meetings and conference calls, obtain signatures for approval (HR, procurement, contracts, etc.) and distribute in timely fashion, prepare purchase requisitions, invoices, memos and other correspondence, create and maintain filing systems that are electronic and physical, provide administrative and clerical support to department management, assist in daily office needs for staff (printing, repairs/work requests, purchase orders), order supplies, make travel arrangements, submit reimbursements, distribute mail, and manage and update the departmental website.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree and two years of administrative office experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience, along with excellent oral/written communication, inter-personal, and organization skills required.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting senior management preferably in a university and/or healthcare organization.
