PC (Preferred Communities) Intensive Case Manager

Job Summary: The PC Intensive Case Manager will be responsible for the recruitment and management of mentors for the Preferred Communities Program at RST Dallas. He/she will serve as the primary facilitator of mentor-mentee relationships and activities. This is a part-time position.

Essential Functions:

• Serve as a local representative of the agency by attending meetings, making presentations, and handling public relations duties as required
• Conduct outreach initiatives with the community to raise awareness
• Carry independent case load
• Assist with transportation of clients
• Assist with planning and attend program events

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Must have excellent communication skills both verbal and written
• Fluency in second language preferred
• Experience working with youth especially desired
• Ability to manage confidential and/or sensitive information required
• Must be flexible, capable of working independently under pressure with deadlines and managing multiple priorities
• Computer proficient including an intermediate/advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
• Must have reliable transportation and maintain valid driver’s license and insurance coverage for vehicle; local travel using own car
