…professionals from all over the word, work closely together to exchange their knowledge, produce furniture, attend different workshops and execute external jobs, like the repairs of broken buildings or improving facilities for other organizations or locals in need.

As department facilitator you will be responsible for:

• Overseeing the department, the team and their skills, helping with introductions and questions
• Overseeing introduction to machines (working safety), stock and inventory.
• Making plans together with the team for the production of furniture (assessing needs, designing prototypes)
• Organizing the production, delegating tasks, ensuring everyone is busy while having enough space to unfold his / her potential
• Weekly department meetings, weekly reporting
• Implementing structures and everyday routines
• Ensuring constant and sustainable development of the department

  Requirements

• vocational training or relevant professional experience or big passion as carpenter, woodworker or other relevant fields.

• Highly motivated, well-structured and creative, uncomplicated, unconventional in problem solving, team spirit

• open to learn with and from colleagues from all over the world.

• Mentally stable and able to deal with confronting situations and to maintain healthy boundaries.

• Sharing our values, philosophy and vision of the world.

• Minimum commitment 1 month – preferably longer (3+)
