The Project Manager will be responsible for the overall management and organization of Al Sharq Youth Conference and ensuring a proper implementation and flow of its agenda and program.

Roles and Responsibilities

1. Responsible for the entire program implementation on ground, and ensure proper flow of the program.

2. Co-plan and oversee the conference guest’s experience/hospitality, and create a safe and meaningful environment in implementation.

3. Coordinate with content team, comms team, logistics team to ensure the effectiveness, efficiency, and success of the conference as they apply to the vision of Alsharq youth network .

4. Build a volunteering team to assist with the overall event administration and staging of assets.

5. Support smooth logistics for events.

Candidate Must-Have

1. Familiarity with Al Sharq Youth network.

2. Fluent in Arabic & English, Turkish is a plus.

3. 2+ years of experience in an event coordination role and/or management;

4. Previous experience in an administrative or support role.

5. Experience in high-level problem-solving, managing multiple projects simultaneously, and the ability to manage a big number of volunteers.

6. Technological savvy (registration websites, events management mobile applications, word and excel).

7. Excellent organization, time-management and communications skills (verbal and written).

Administration

1. Time: approximately 40 hours per week.

2. Engagement duration: 6 months with possibility of extension to 2 years rotation.

3. Based: Istanbul.

4. Reporting: Report to General Coordinator of Al Sharq Youth Network.
