We’re hiring! We’re looking for a full time Sales Intern to join our team. This is a paid 4-month internship opportunity (May 9 – August 26). In this role, you’ll be reporting directly to the co-founder, Connie, as well as working cross-functionally with the marketing team. We are seeking a determined self-starter passionate about sales and building relationships. In this role, you will be sourcing new retailer accounts and subscription box partnerships to drive distribution and sales for Three Ships, as well as supporting existing accounts to grow velocity at current distribution.

RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Primary focus is to actively develop relationships with new and existing buyer contacts with independent retailers to drive distribution, shelf placement, merchandising, and overall productivity-driving opportunities for Three Ships.
  • Establish and maintain a close working relationship with existing and new beauty, wellness, and prestige retail accounts. Ensure retailers are being properly supported and follow up regularly for re-orders and assistance via email and phone calls. This also includes working cross-functionally with our design team to create assets that support sales, education and brand awareness.
  • Secondary focus is sourcing subscription box partners to drive brand awareness and sales. The goal is to find boxes with similar target demographics, such as the vegan community (i.e. Petit Vour) or natural beauty community.
  • Identify brand building opportunities in accounts in addition to volume-driving opportunities. Get creative!

REQUIREMENTS 

  • Currently enrolled in a college/university program, with focus in Business.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills with the ability to interact effectively with customers, retail buyers, and in-store management and staff.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Experience working in the health, wellness and beauty industry is an asset.
  • Positive attitude with a desire to grow within a collaborative, inspiring teamwork environment.
