Head of FP&A – 12 month FTC – International Creative Agency

The Company

We are delighted to be working on an exclusive basis with a internationally renowned Creative Agency. The company are continuously expanding with a new division focussed on supporting the global operation.

Harmonic has placed over 10 finance professionals with the agency already, and culturally we find that candidates who are proactive, ambitious, enjoy working in changing environments and effecting change thrive in this environment. You will be working closely with a Finance Director, CFO and will have two direct reports.

You will need to be able to join an agency where you will contribute to establishing a top class reporting system, working with systems specialists and senior finance teams globally to ensure they maximise the systems output

The Role

• The candidate will provide support with ad hoc analysis and take ownership for regular reporting, supported by the two management accountants.
• You will be required to provide written commentary to the CEO and Board, and members of the Executive Committee.
• In addition to the above, the candidate will take ownership of preparation of the businesses annual budgeting/quarterly forecasting/strategic long-term planning cycles
• The role will involve regular exposure to the CFO, and interaction with Finance Directors and CEOs of the regions

Personal Requirements

• Ability to work in a very fast paced environment as part of a lean Group Finance team
• Fast learner who can quickly understand complicated models and processes
• High standards with regards to accuracy and presentation of information
• Self-driven, can pick up assigned projects, own them and be accountable to deliver results
• Strong analytical and numerical skills which reflect your ability to manipulate, interpret and provide valuable insight
• High attention to detail whilst maintaining the ability to see the big picture
• Strong interpersonal skills for interaction with senior members of the Group and remote Finance teams with the ability to communicate in a concise and clear format
• Action oriented, unafraid of uncertainty

Technical Requirements

• CIMA/ACCA/ACA – Qualified with minimum two years PQE
• Strong Excel skills
• Knowledge/experience of consolidation of a group P&L, Balance Sheet & Cashflow for management reporting
• Experienced with providing written/preparing presentations for executives and/or board level desirable
• Experience in designing reporting dashboards would be advantageous
