 The Canadian Construction Association (CCA) is the national voice for Canada’s heavy civil, institutional, commercial, and industrial construction industry, giving voice to the public policy, legal and standards development goals of contractors, suppliers and allied business professionals working in, or with, our industry.

About the role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing statistics and conducting industry research to support the decision process in sales and business development. The candidate will collect statistical data analyses, design data overviews, and implement data visualization components.

Key responsibilities:

  • Build reporting and analytics to support department activity while providing recommendations to improve the process.
  • Ensure stored data is easily accessible to internal and external teams. 
  • Respond to inquiries and requests for information from staff in a timely manner.
  • Work closely with the team to create analytics and reports on document sales, industry benchmarks, and topic-related research.
  • Assist in creating a strategy that helps increase the company’s customer reach.
  • Identify opportunities to work cross-functionally. 
  • Build strong internal relationships to help ensure business objectives are being met.
  • Remove corrupted data and review through root cause analysis.

Qualifications:

  • In the process of obtaining a university degree or college diploma in business, supply chain, or another relevant area of study.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Involved in relevant activities and projects beyond the classroom.
  • Bilingualism would be considered an asset.

Skills & knowledge:

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and operate effectively within a fast-paced team environment, work independently, and effectively manage personal targets.
  • Highly creative and able to think outside the box.
  • Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
  • Strategic and analytic thinker.
