Duties

Summary

This position is located in the Architect of the Capitol (AOC), Office of the Chief of Operations (OCO). The selectee will serve as senior analyst and program manager with responsibility forcoordinating key aspects of Facilities Management and managing associated systems and support contracts.

Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the position to be filled. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the next lower grade level.Candidates for the GS-14grade level must have at least 52 weeks of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower (GS-13)grade level in the Federal service.Specialized experience for this position includes: Planning, managing, and leading in the development and implementation of facilities management strategies, policies, and systems for a large organization.

Providing oversight and direction of a web-based Computer Aided Facility Management (CAFM) system and/or a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).

Developing new processes and procedures to enhance and expand the CAFM and CMMS systems reporting and data gathering capabilities.

Analyzing data/information and measuring the effectiveness of facilities management and maintenance programs, systems, and operations.
