Job Description And Duties

The DTSC Hazardous Waste Management Program (HWMP) is looking for a Staff Services Manager I to join our team! Use your strong analytical and technical skills to help protect the environment and the safety of Californians. We are searching for individuals that are knowledgeable in hiring practices, budget management, and contracts.
Under the general direction of the Environmental Program Manager I (EPM I), the Staff Services Manager I is responsible for directing and managing the administrative and support functions of the Hazardous Waste Management Program (HWMP) Admininstrive Support Unit, and will provide technical, analytical, and consultative support in the areas of contract management, budget management and human resources.

Personnel Liaison Management
Contract Management
HWMP Budget Management
Staff Oversight, Administrative Duties and Process Improvements
