Job Description Summary
The Director is responsible for providing operational leadership to the entire RECF business unit and serves as the focal point for all department and system operational functions that support the real estate, property management, design, planning, construction, and facilities functions across the organization. The RECF organization budgets, manages, and administers approximately $500 – $750M worth the budgets, real estate assets, construction projects, facility and building assets and other functions that support the infrastructure to help OhioHealth serve its patients
As a part of the Real Estate, Construction and Facilities (RECF) senior leadership team, this position will have ultimate accountability for all aspects of the day to day operations of RECF, including the broad support and management of organization wide strategic planning, KPI management, processes, procedures, HR and finance (liaison support) and other key items to facilitate operational excellence. , Develops, nurtures, and maintains collaborative relationships with other system senior leaders to achieve the responsibilities of this position.
Director reports to the System Vice President of Real Estate, Construction, and Facilities and leads a team of 5-10 direct reports.
Minimum Qualifications
Master’s Degree
SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE
MS Office Products (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Effective communication, interpersonal, organizational and facilitation skills. Independent and self-motivated Kind and Length of Experience: Background in healthcare, finance, or other related fields involving data, analysis, and process implementation is required. Critical thinking as well as strong analytical, planning, and organizational skills required. A minimum of five years’ experience required.
