  • Serves as Director of Development Level II within the Advancement Division and the University Development Team (UDT).
  • Qualifies, cultivates, solicits and stewards philanthropic major gifts from assigned College of Engineering, Computing & Applied Sciences alumni and friends.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

JOB DUTIES:
80% – Essential – Fundraising:
Manages a dynamic portfolio (150 maximum) of prospects/donors who have the capacity to make a philanthropic major gift. Qualifies, cultivates, solicits and stewards gifts from College of Engineering, Computing & Applied Sciences alumni and friends through 180-200 visits annually. Raises a minimum of $750,000 on an annual basis with subsequent years’ goals determined in conjunction with the Senior Director. Creates and implements annual plans to increase the overall number of donors and level of commitments within the College. Encourages generosity of constituents for service and advocacy opportunities.
10% – Essential – Strategic Collaboration & Partnerships:
Seeks opportunities to collaborate with team members across the Advancement Division and within the College as necessary to achieve individual and team fundraising goals. Articulates Clemson and the College’s mission and vision to inspire constituents and forge strategic partnerships.
10% – Essential – Stewardship & Engagement:
Coordinates cultivation, stewardship and donor engagement opportunities related to development activities for assigned donors and/or college in close collaboration with Donor Relations team members.JOB DUTIES: 80% – Essential – Fundraising:

Work Experience – 3+ Years related experience in alumni engagement, fundraising, business development, journalism or communications.RESPONSIBILITIES: JOB KNOWLEDGE
Firm Job Knowledge – Firm working knowledge of concepts, practices and procedures and ability to use in varied situations
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
No Supervisory Duties – Not responsible for supervising employees.
BUDGETARY RESPONSIBILITIES
