Advisor: Financial Accountant (18 month FTC)

Frontline AIDS

We are seeking a committed team member with a clear focus on team objectives, as well as your own. Your actions will be aligned with the Frontline AIDS vision and you will inspire the same behaviour in your peers. You are comfortable working in a matrix management environment.

You will have strong communication skills to manage stakeholder expectations and be committed to fostering a high-performance culture. You will work with colleagues across the organisation thoughtfully to give real accountability and authority.

Manages a portfolio of partner organisations, ensuring reported costs and balances are accounted for accurately, reviewed and reconciled in a timely manner and accurate cash disbursements processed on a timely basis.

Manages the budgets within this portfolio, ensuring these are captured accurately and supports programmes staff in the critical review of performance.

Manages the preparation of financial reports for a selection of Frontline AIDS’ donors, directly correlated with the portfolio of partner organisations and working collaboratively with the programme delivery function.

Ensures these donor reports are reconciled to the organisation’s accounting system and supports in any institutional fundraising proposals as required, providing direct support to the Income function within the organisation.

Completes timely and accurate monthly balance sheet reconciliations connected to project accounting work.

Works to ensure the integrity and accuracy of the financial data in Business Central

Supports Frontline AIDS staff in embedding new operational and financial systems processes

We are transitioning to a hybrid model of working We are currently working from home but you will also be required to spend time working alongside your team as appropriate in our office in Brighton (East Sussex, UK).The successful applicant will need to either hold, or be able to obtain, the right to work in the UK.
