Our client is an international software company providing a social media management platform to businesses and agencies. Due to growth in the DACH region, they are now expanding and recruiting for a number of Sales Development Representatives – Junior and Senior to join their growing team. They have offices in both Berlin & Frankfurt am Main, and the role can be based either in the offices working on a hybrid model or as 100% remote and you can then be based anywhere in Germany and work from a home-office. Sales Development Representative – DACH
Permanent Position / Berlin – Frankfurt – 100% Remote in Germany
Your new duties and responsibilities
As the new Sales Development Representative – Inside Sales, it will be your responsibility to generate business through acquiring new customers and clients within the DACH region. Your clients will be social media & marketing professionals from small- medium and large companies within different industries. It will be your role to pre-qualify leads, discuss opportunities with clients over the phone, and work closely together with the senior sales staff across the DACH region.
Your day-to-day duties will include:
- Proactively identify opportunities and contacts with new clients
- Lead generation: qualifying cold leads and following up on warm leads
- Make outbound calls to win new B2B customers
- Monitor and record sales activities and opportunities in CRM
- Set up and agree meetings and demonstrations for senior sales staff
- Work towards daily, weekly and monthly KPIs
- With time also negotiate and close deals
Your profile
As my client has a number of positions open, they are happy to see candidates with no to little experience, as well as someone with a few years sales experience already.
The ideal candidate should have the following qualifications:
- Ideally University degree in Business or an equivalent education
- Some first experience in direct sales B2B is of advantage
- Ideally some experience within telesales, inside sales, outbound call centre, lead generation or telemarketing
- Excellent relationship building skills
- Ideally good knowledge and interest in software and/ or social media marketing
- Customer Service Oriented
- Strong communication skills
- Fluent German and good English
