Restaurant and Bar staff

Make UK Venues have an exciting opportunity to join their food and beverage bank staff at Woodland Grange Hotel in Leamington Spa.

The Main Purpose Of The Job

As a member of the Restaurant Team, contribute to the provision of quality service to meet standards in line with agreed procedures and provide a warm welcome to clients and visitors, so that the reputation of Make Venues Woodland Grange is maintained and enhanced.

Key Responsibilities

Observe good personal hygiene at all times and be of well-groomed

Undertake all tasks as trained and directed with an understanding of Food Hygiene standards and follow the standards stipulated to ensure high standards of food hygiene & health and safety are met

Ensure the restaurant, bars, break out areas and conference rooms in use are presented and well stocked to high standards so that customers enjoy a comfortable and welcoming environment

All food products are attractively displayed and presented

Assist customers with queries in a professional, courteous and friendly manner, so that customer care standards are met and complaints kept to a minimum

Participate in staff training

Provide high-quality table service

Ensure all aspects of security, fire and emergency are carried out, so that established good practices are adhered to

All staff are expected to observe all health and safety at work regulations as set out in accordance with its statutory obligations.

Ensure that all rubbish bins are emptied, and all bar rubbish is disposed of or recycled correctly in the appropriate bins.

Report all accidents to the Duty Manager.

Report any unsafe practices or broken machinery/equipment to the Duty Manager, so that remedial action can be taken immediately

Use all equipment as trained to observe all safety practices, so that accidents are avoided

Participate in basic food hygiene training and health and safety training as required.

Undertake any other duties as may reasonably be requested of a Catering Assistant
