We are currently looking to recruit Van salesman in Baghdad to join the Iraqi team. At Arla, we do so much more than make some of the world’s favorite dairy products. Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for achieving sales target of the assigned route
  • Follow visit schedule strictly
  • Make sure that truck is loaded with Minimum stock of Arla products
  • Ensure the assigned area route is adequately covered and conform to delivery schedule.
  • Inform the supervisor/Manager of new establishments that open in his assigned area.
  • Visit these establishments and update visit schedule
  • Communicate potential and actual problems that may affect the product distribution in the assigned territory
  • Reconcile with the assigned area Supervisor/Manager the total daily sales
  • Deposit cash with the cashier on the same day and submit relevant invoices to the supervisor/Manager for review.
  • Ensure effective display of product (as per Min. standard) in the outlets
  • Maintain discipline; ensure good relationship with all the colleagues
  • Conduct Daily check on truck in terms of oil and water levels and ensure the truck is clean
  • Refer any vehicle problems to his supervisor or workshop mechanic in timely manner
  • Follow traffic rules established by Iraqi traffic directorate
  • Conduct market survey (especially competitor activity) as requested by supervisor/Manager
  • Provide adequate market feedback to supervisor/ManagerPrepares documentation, reporting and analysis for Audit based on directions from manager or senior team members.

Job Specifications

  • High School or Equivalent
  • Driving Skills
  • 2+ Years of Sales experience in FMCG company

Required Languages

  • Fluency in Arabic, English language as advantage.

  • Good understanding of sales
  • Good communication and negotiation abilities
