Head of Sales

We are looking for experienced Sales & Business Development leaders to apply for a Head of Sales role with our employer partner located in Germany.

The Role:

As Head of Sales, you will be responsible for the following:

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve company goals and sustainably increase sales.
  • You will lead the sales team, make it grow, and take over the ongoing coaching of the team. In doing so, you will ensure that they have the necessary skills to perform to the best of their ability in their roles.
  • Set clear performance targets for the team and develop them so that high-performance standards can be defined and tracked.
  • Define and monitor lead generation and qualification processes to optimise efficiency and maximise conversion.
  • Implement best practices for outbound prospecting and lead nurturing to achieve best results with the team.
  • Define necessary KPIs to manage our sales success. Monitor and improve the use of sales tools (e.g. CRM, outbound tools) to improve productivity and effectiveness across the team.
  • Keep up to date with industry trends and the competitive environment in order to make strategic decisions.

Qualifications:

  • Enthusiasm for and experience in building sales teams.
  • Proven experience in a similar role with a focus on inside sales, cold calling and modern lead generation methods.
  • Proven track record of implementing and utilising sales tools.
  • Strong understanding of the energy market and related technologies to identify and prioritise our ideal customers.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills – we are constantly developing our products based on data.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A customer-centric mindset and a strong focus on results.
