Syria Civil Defense (White Helmets)

ABOUT THE WHITE HELMETS

The white helmets (The Syrian Civil Defense) save people’s lives and enhance the role of civil society organizations. SCOPE OF WORK

Study, provide, manage and develop systems and software that serve Syria Civil Defense work.

TERMS OF REFERENCE

Duty station: Turkey (Online)
Line manager: Programming and Business Automation Manager
Full-Time/Part-Time

Tasks and activities:

Design, develop, and maintain high-quality Flutter applications.
Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code following best practices.
Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend developers to define app features and requirements.
Optimize application performance and troubleshoot issues.
Conduct code reviews, and provide mentorship and guidance to junior developers.
Stay up-to-date with the latest Flutter and mobile development trends, technologies, and best practices.
Adheres to the approved standards and policies in the field of cybersecurity and information security.
Handles cybersecurity incidents and reports them.
Performs other tasks assigned related to the nature of the job.

Qualification (Education/Work Experience)

A. Essential:

Bachelor’s degree in Programming , or any related field.
A proven experience for 3 years at least in mobile development.

B. Desirable:

Master Degree.
A proven experience for 5 years at least in mobile development.

Technical Competences:

Proven experience as a Flutter Developer with 3+ years of experience in mobile development.
Proficiency in Dart and Flutter framework.
Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, third-party libraries, and Firebase.
Familiarity with version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a team-oriented environment.

Preferred to have:

Experience in native Android or iOS development.
Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
