The Analysis and Evidence (A&E) Specialist is the focal point for all matters related to assessments, analysis, monitoring, evaluation, data collection and data analysis, reporting and information management. In this role, he/she provides essential support throughout the program cycle across all programmatic areas, offering valuable assistance at each stage and theme. The A&E Specialist plays a crucial support role in assessing and analyzing needs, designing and planning programs based on insights, monitoring key performance indicators, evaluating program outcomes, and facilitating learning opportunities.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develops and supports a robust Results-based Management (RBM) system that prioritizes achieving outcomes.
- Implements needs assessments, situation, and problem analysis, monitoring and evaluations.
- Maintains databases and ensures the correct and timely completion of the Project and Activity Management tool (PAM)
- Perform qualitative and quantitative data analysis, describes results and produces data visualizations.
- Takes responsibility for integrating accountability to affected population (AAP), diversity and inclusiveness in all areas of work.
- Contributes to internal reporting, including Quarterly Economic Security (EcoSec) Report, Monitoring for Result report (MfR), assessment reports, monitoring reports, weekly activities report.
- Contributes to building monitoring and evaluation capacity of EcoSec staff and the national society (Philippine Red Cross) through training and information sharing.
- Provides technical support and expertise to the other EcoSec Generalists on matter related to A&E
- Participates in field activities in different areas of ICRC intervention and supports colleagues during multidisciplinary need assessments and the implementation and monitoring of different EcoSec projects.
REQUIRED PROFILE
- University degree in Economics, Statistics, Social Sciences, GIS, Political Science, Public Health or another related field.
- At least 3 to 5 years of professional experience in need assessments, monitoring and evaluation, information management.
- Previous working experience with an International Humanitarian Organization or Non-Government Organization is an advantage.
- Knowledge of qualitative analysis, statistical analysis and mapping and relevant software
- Good knowledge of Mindanao’s geography.
- Willingness to work and travel to different areas for several weeks.
- Fluency in written and spoken English, Tagalog, Bisaya and Maguindanaon is an advantage.
