Background

SoCha is contracted to provide Monitoring, Reporting, and Capacity Strengthening (MRCS) support to complement and augment USAID’s Sahel Regional Office (SRO) performance management of activities within its portfolio. Over a period of five years (2023-2027), MRCS will provide this technical assistance to the Sahel Regional Technical Office (SRTO), Sahel Regional Program Office (SRPO), the Niger Mission, the Burkina Faso Country Office, the Bureau for Humanitarian Assistance (BHA) Resilience Food Security Activities (RFSAs) in Niger and Burkina Faso, as well as limited support to other SRO-supported countries.

MRCS currently has one office Burkina Faso and consists of five technical staff and five support staff, totaling ten project staff.

Scope of Work

The consultant will draft team building design documents, facilitate the team building session, and prepare a team building session report. The consultant will be contracted by SoCha and will report directly to the Head office Human resource Manager. The consultant will:

• Develop the methodology of the team building session, including the details on activities to be conducted during the session and the objectives to achieve with each activity.
• Develop the team building tools to use during the session.
• Facilitate the team building session.
• Prepare a team building session report.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience

• Master’s degree in psychology, social sciences or other related master’s degree required.
• Extensive technical expertise in team building facilitation.
• Ability to work independently to produce results within a defined timeline.
• Strong communication skills.
• Experience in Burkina Faso strongly preferred.

• Final report of the team building session due on August 31, 2024

LOE and Period of Performance

The work will be carried out from August 19 to August 31, 2024. The LOE is a maximum of 3 days.
