JUNIOR ACCOUNTANT – Paris

Our Customer is a major European operator in the electricity market for almost Eighty years, leader in wind power and growing in the renewables sector (hydro plants, cogeneration plants), in line with the new global energy scenarios, with a total installed capacity of more than 2,700 MW.

We are looking for a JUNIOR ACCOUNTANT (Paris)

Areas of Responsibility:

• Accounting, bookkeeping, Vat and tax compliance, mainly consisting of: Account receivables and payables; bank account reconciliations; general ledger posting
• Financial periodical reporting with cut off period management
• Annual closing works: Auditor assistance, F/S preparation, tax return etc.
• Ongoing communication with vendors, customers and authorities
• Periodical tax declaration (VAT, CVAE, DES, DEB etc …)
• Handling of all works in connection with financial accounting

Academic Background:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting

Work Experience: 2/3 years of bookkeeping in a medium size company/group.

Additional Information: renewable energy business experience preferably

Languages:

• French: fluently
• English: level B2

IT Skills:

• Excellent Microsoft office skills
• ERP knowledge (SAP)
• Tax return software (Sage ECF would be an upside)

Know – How & Managerial Skills

• Excellent understanding of accounting and fiscal issues
• Goal-oriented and self-dependent working as well as good analytical thinking
• Capacity for teamwork, high commitment, preciseness
