Job Overview
Live group is seeking a Financial Accountant to play a key role in our transformation project as we enter the next growth phase of the business.
Reporting to the Commercial Finance Manager, your duties include:
- Owning the general ledger and overseeing monthly balance sheet, banking, and inter-company reconciliations
- Reporting on daily cash flows
- Overseeing month-end preparation and closure
- Preparing GST lodgments and assisting with company tax returns
- Processing end to end payroll for 35+ staff
- Assisting in the preparation of statutory accounts
- Supervising and training the Assistant Accountant and Accounts Officer
- Assisting with implementing process improvement and systems enhancement initiatives
- Proactivity in streamlining finance duties.
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance or a related field
- Completed or working toward completing your CA/CPA Qualification
- 3-5 years’ relevant experience
- Experience with Netsuite or a similar enterprise grade finance platform
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
- Strong interpersonal communication skills (both written and verbal).
- Critical thinking, initiative, and problem-solving skills
- Capability to perform your duties in a work-from-home/office-based hybrid capacity.
