Job Overview

Live group is seeking a Financial Accountant to play a key role in our transformation project as we enter the next growth phase of the business.

Reporting to the Commercial Finance Manager, your duties include:

  • Owning the general ledger and overseeing monthly balance sheet, banking, and inter-company reconciliations
  • Reporting on daily cash flows
  • Overseeing month-end preparation and closure
  • Preparing GST lodgments and assisting with company tax returns
  • Processing end to end payroll for 35+ staff
  • Assisting in the preparation of statutory accounts
  • Supervising and training the Assistant Accountant and Accounts Officer
  • Assisting with implementing process improvement and systems enhancement initiatives
  • Proactivity in streamlining finance duties.

 

About You

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance or a related field
  • Completed or working toward completing your CA/CPA Qualification
  • 3-5 years’ relevant experience
  • Experience with Netsuite or a similar enterprise grade finance platform
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills (both written and verbal).
  • Critical thinking, initiative, and problem-solving skills
  • Capability to perform your duties in a work-from-home/office-based hybrid capacity.
