Your team

The AUSIEX finance partners with other departments, providing financial information, tools, analysis and insight to management executives, challenging their thinking, helping them make more informed decisions and driving business strategy.

 

What will you be doing

Utilising your natural strengths of exceptional attention to detail & ability to navigate through a fast paced environment, you will support the Head of Finance to deliver key activities including:

·        Process full function payroll on a fortnightly basis for ~270 employees

·        Completing payroll reconciliation including quarterly superannuation payments

·        Responding to payroll queries

·        Assist with the accounts payable and accounts receivable function

·        Perform bank reconciliations

·        Assist with balance sheet reconciliations

·        General administration support 

·        Preparation of ad-hoc reports and financial information with a high degree of accuracy

 

About you

To be considered for this rewarding role where you have the opportunity to contribute to AUSIEX’s goals as market leader, you will have:

 

  • At least 2 years’ payroll experience with a solid understanding of Australian payroll related legislation
  • Strong business analysis skills with experience in delivering process improvements
  • Excellent excel & data management skills – you’re quick with your formulas & know when something doesn’t look quite right!
  • Ability to apply effective time management, organisational and prioritisation skills to manage multiple tasks and stakeholders
  • High attention to detail and ability to maintain strict confidentiality
  • You have strong verbal and written skills that allows you to build trust & respond to high volume queries efficiently & accurately
  • You’re not afraid to stop & consider the ‘why’ or ‘how’ when dealing with complex issues that arise from time to time
