Retail Banking is a major contributor to BRD profitability, serving more than 2 million customers, through more than 600 branches, Contact Center and digital services. Retail Digital Transformation team is answering to clients growing appetite for digital banking.

The opportunity:

Working in this team you will be in the middle of a massive and exciting technological and business transformation, sponsored and closely followed by BRD Management Board. You will join a young and diverse team and you will be in charge directly to build and run multi-millions euro products. You will have an intensive, demanding but fun job, with direct impact in shaping the future of Retail Banking.

The role will:

• Be the principle decision maker and coordinator of technical teams in building and maintaining the mobile application, CRM for the employees built on the same platform and open banking services exposure
• collaborate with product and segment managers to define goals, requirements and priorities for digital services
• be customer’s advocate within the feature team
• direct the prioritization and delivery of customer-facing product features, with a mind towards benefits and trade offs
• own the backlog of development and take responsibility for the delivery, ensuring implementation with dedicated resources within the agreed timing
• create business requirements documentation (e.g. use cases, workflows, wire-frames, product requirements) to facilitate customer journey, UX design and product development
• collaborate closely with business and technology colleagues, with local and international partners, making sure that product features are clearly understood, built and delivered
• collaborate with Compliance, Legal and Risk teams to ensure full compliance with all regulatory and internal requirements
• ensure delivery of a competitive digital customer experience, in line with targeted customer experience at products and segments levels
• be accountable for quality and speed of delivery and customer satisfaction with the product
• author collateral content – demos, FAQ’s, support materials that package the digital experience
• participate in end-to-end user accepting testing, starting with scenarios definition

What we expect from you:

• You have demonstrable expertise in ownership of customer-facing digital services
• You work preferably in Banking, Financial Services, Telecommunication or IT/Software development companies
• You have direct experience in retail banking digitalization. A big plus if you have been a product owner for digital lending and/or remote onboarding.
• While you are not necessarily coding yourself, you have a solid understanding of technology and a strong view of how to use it to power the business of the future. Based on this knowledge you are confident to constructively challenge technology solutions and to discuss trade offs
• You have strong analytical skills and you are able to combine structured data with client feedback to deliver outstanding customer experience
• You have an university degree and professional experience of min 5 years
• You are proficient in English and you have excellent communication and relationship building skills
• You have a big plus if you worked in Agile teams and you understand Agile beyond the buzz words
