Job Impulse, Inc. has an immediate opening for a Financial Analyst in Fountain Inn, SC.

The Financial Analyst is responsible for reviewing financial transactions as well as collecting, monitoring, and studying the data. Assist with work plan reporting, cost accounting and reconciliation. This position is also responsible for ensuring that the budgeting, costing, pricing, and related processes provide timely accurate information for business decision making.

Responsibilities Of a Financial Analyst Includes

• Assist in establishing and maintaining the company’s accounting principles, practices, and procedures.
• Closing and reconciliation process
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements for internal management and parent company reporting purposes
• Perform data entry, verification and back up of database
• Leads in the preparation and evaluation of budgets and other financial operating reports and presents findings and recommendations to senior management
• Evaluates and maintains cost accounting system on an on-going basis to ensure accuracy of data and coordinates with various departments any changes required
• Coordinates and participates in the development, preparation, analysis and interpretation of financial information to assist senior management’s decision making
• Develops ad hoc reports and analysis and present findings to management
• Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements Of a Financial Analyst

• Level of Knowledge/Skills: Advanced knowledge in professional area plus several years of experience SAP
• Problem Analysis: Solves problems by obtaining data, performing analysis to identify and evaluate possible alternatives
• Decision Making/Autonomy: Activities and decisions are varied in nature, frequently requiring independent action. Unusual cases are resolved with supervisor/manager.
• Teamwork/Interaction Skills: Coordination, communication, team problem solving required between department/functional areas for production/services
• Supervisory Responsibility: Responsible for individual work without supervision of others
• Budget Responsibility: No direct accountability for department budget development/control

REQUIRED Experience And Education

• Bachelor Degree in Accounting/ Finance or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 3+ years manufacturing accounting experience
• Excellent computer knowledge / MS Office/Excel
