Overview:

International Business and Technical Consultants, Inc. (IBTCI), a US-based international development consulting company, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Junior Evaluator/Researcher for an evaluation of UNICEF work in Primary Health Care (PHC).

This position is contingent upon UNICEF award.

Responsibilities

Scope of Work:

  • Contribute to evaluation methodology and data collection tools design.
  • Conduct quantitative data collection, management and cleaning activities.
  • Search, analyze, synthesize and organize documents from literature reviews on the different topic for the desk review activity.
  • Conduct focus group discussions and key informant interviews.
  • Develop the presentation of the evaluation findings.
  • Organize and present evaluation results in the dissemination workshop and support the report writing.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of progressively responsible experience in both qualitative and quantitative data analysis.
  • At least 3 years of experience in knowledge management for evaluation, information technology and data management.
  • Experience in supporting senior evaluators in ensuring use of consistent interview protocols, templates for recording and reporting on interviews, standard case study report formats and a comparative table of findings.
  • Strong quantitative skills and experience with analysis of varied forms of data.
  • Familiarity with issues regarding primary health care.
  • Expertise in handling collaborative teamwork software, online surveys, document repositories, bibliography software and databases.

Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Social Science or related field required.

Supervisory Responsibilities: This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.

Travel: Travel may be required.
